This post will probably suck

Sorry it's been a while.. Wait, why am I apologizing to the internet? It's my damn blog!

So I left off finishing exams from the summer school of hell and flew home for a week. I will spare activity details but the first few days I was walking around with an annoying "Did I pass of fucking fail that course?" thought in my head. Well good news, I passed. WOOO.

Thanks again to all of you I got to see that week!

Fast forward. After flying back to school, and meeting a ton of exchange students (who are all awesome and make me jealous I was not born in Europe), we partied and all that jazz.. or like, EDM since no one listens to jazz probably because it's not 1977 anymore, and then reality set in and classes began.

So far not too bad but this semester will probably include more work, and studying than all of college combined.. wonderful.

Anyways, that's the catch up of the last few weeks. Now here I am, sitting trying to write about something that may actually draw more people here. OH, since no one ever comments here, I wonder if anyone saw the ad I placed on this page. I'm probably going to drop it since, fuck blogging for money, I know I'm no where good enough for that. Well, more like, who the fuck has time for that!?

Apologies for my potty mouth in that paragraph.

Okay I just checked, apparently there is no ad. Fuck Google, you screwed me. Lucky that wasn't my only inco.. oh wait it is. No matter, I will just starve. It's not like the 4 cents per month I'd make on it was very useful anyway.

I just read what I wrote so far and basically fell asleep in my chair, with my eyes open. Mind you that is no easy feat but I am known to do so from time to time.

Hey okay, some progress. I see that for some reason, the ad only shows up on mobile, so everyone!! All 15 of you!! go click on it! Please? Okay, don't worry, I probably wouldn't either.

I tried this before but feel free to leave suggestions for new topics. Or, maybe I'll do what current internet journalists do and just write about shit I saw on reddit and take it as my own. HA, they totally do that. Welcome to 2015.

Euroblog Part 7

This series ended up being far longer than I anticipated. I could make an ebook about my travels! Who am I kidding, no one would want to read that... let alone buy it. Also, side note: Polarsteps was so great up until a couple days ago when it went haywire and threw a bunch of phantom travel paths on my map. Support said it has been fixed however, there was no way to remove the phantom lines. This all makes for a ton of work for me to redo all of the travel steps. It's unfortunate but I understand these things happen. Anyway, it's all updated now and working as it should, sorry to my 7000  7 followers for any inconvenience. Now that it's all back to normal, here is the link if you'd like to check out my trip! If you missed any of the series, check it out on my social media feeds or on my blog homepage. The last post is right here! July 22 2017 Wow, am I ever behind on this. [Left off in Florence] So I went up the massive dome of the Florence Cathedral...

Tim Hortons: An In-depth Review

As I sit here pretending to be a scriptwriter at a budget Starbucks  Tim Hortons, feeling slightly out of place, I write this review. This will be an attempt at a new series on my blog, since I've been dry with ideas since returning to Canada. Tim Hortons is a Canadian classic coffee shop turned fast food restaurant while still retaining its coffeeshop status. Apparently, it used to be excellent until they changed coffee beans, but that was before my coffee drinking days so I and most people around my age probably feel the same (we don't feel anything about the changed beans). It also used to be cheap, but since high-status coffee shops like the aforementioned Starbucks and Second Cup somehow get away with charging 10$ for a drink, the friendly neighborhood Canadian brand jacks prices to compete. At least it still has its loyal customers. Fun fact, the first Tim's restaurant was in my hometown of Hamilton! It's also the usual go-to spot for a quick bathroom brea...

"Creative yet Clickbaity Title on Solar Energy!"

In the last post, I talked about what the Sun was. A giant nuclear fusion reactor. And since it is so good at being the Sun, it not only provides heat to our Earth, but also light. Lots of light. Hopefully, this isn't news to you (yikes!). Light is an interesting thing we very much take for granted. Look around, there is light in the room you're in, light coming from the screen you're reading this on (unless you're psycho and still print things..) and light from outside. Even at night! The light from the moon, isn't really light from the moon, but a reflection of light from the Sun. Did I just blow your mind? Probably not.. I guess I'm failing as a writer. There is a lot of light available, and all that light also carries energy, rather, it is energy. In reality, the light from your phone screen doesn't really have the potential to power anything, neither does a light bulb. But think about how many light bulbs it would take to equal the amount of light t...
