So I'm moving out. Again.

Well its almost the end of June. Thats like eight months since the last blog. For all my fans, which I know there are tons.. I'm back!

So I've been back in Hamilton the past 6 months.. but let me catch up on Sarnia first.

I finished work off with a bang absolutely clutching my projects and year end presentation. Probably the best presentation I've ever done. Walked out of that room feeling like an absolute champ. But I left Imperial's research center and never looked back. Now I left some work that wasn't fully dummy proofed yet due to the vastness of its functionality. I tried to help support it with instructions and some minor communication but I have heard the program has failed and the people who were meant to use it have reverted back to the stone age excel file that I optimized to begin with. Yeah. Fuck the Free Wor.... Dammit, Eminem got to that one.

I'm more proud that I was able to learn a skill, on my own mind you, execute it and have it function well enough to use for 4 months, with my constant support of course. But as most things go, the creator takes the fall for its failure regardless of who ended up fucking it up. Thats just the way the cookie crumbles.. wait.. I totally stole that line.

Anyways I had a great experience in Sarnia but I'm glad to be home.

Home. How I've missed.. well actually I didn't really miss home. I definetly missed some stuff but all in all it's a little more boring here then it was there last year. Especially now that I am in between schools. I basically watch way too many TV shows and ride my glorious road bike as often as my body, and the weather, allows.

So moving out again. Here's the story.
I got into a Chemical Engineering transfer program up in Thunder Bay, Ontario. It's far, like upper Lake Superior far. So it will be interesting to say the least. No car this time, no massive room with super fast internet (I assume), and well, engineering school. So math. I hated math. Why the fuck am I even doing this? Ahh goals are goals and I want it. That's a good reason, right? Why am I even asking you? I probably don't even know you! But I love all you for reading my completely unnecessary blog.

Well it's going to be a totally new thing for me and I'm pumped to see it through. I want to continue these posts again so hopefully I get into it enough.

Also, I've had some other encounters with the wonderous internet on youtube and soundcloud so if you're interested, check it out!

Euroblog Part 7

This series ended up being far longer than I anticipated. I could make an ebook about my travels! Who am I kidding, no one would want to read that... let alone buy it. Also, side note: Polarsteps was so great up until a couple days ago when it went haywire and threw a bunch of phantom travel paths on my map. Support said it has been fixed however, there was no way to remove the phantom lines. This all makes for a ton of work for me to redo all of the travel steps. It's unfortunate but I understand these things happen. Anyway, it's all updated now and working as it should, sorry to my 7000  7 followers for any inconvenience. Now that it's all back to normal, here is the link if you'd like to check out my trip! If you missed any of the series, check it out on my social media feeds or on my blog homepage. The last post is right here! July 22 2017 Wow, am I ever behind on this. [Left off in Florence] So I went up the massive dome of the Florence Cathedral...

Tim Hortons: An In-depth Review

As I sit here pretending to be a scriptwriter at a budget Starbucks  Tim Hortons, feeling slightly out of place, I write this review. This will be an attempt at a new series on my blog, since I've been dry with ideas since returning to Canada. Tim Hortons is a Canadian classic coffee shop turned fast food restaurant while still retaining its coffeeshop status. Apparently, it used to be excellent until they changed coffee beans, but that was before my coffee drinking days so I and most people around my age probably feel the same (we don't feel anything about the changed beans). It also used to be cheap, but since high-status coffee shops like the aforementioned Starbucks and Second Cup somehow get away with charging 10$ for a drink, the friendly neighborhood Canadian brand jacks prices to compete. At least it still has its loyal customers. Fun fact, the first Tim's restaurant was in my hometown of Hamilton! It's also the usual go-to spot for a quick bathroom brea...

"Creative yet Clickbaity Title on Solar Energy!"

In the last post, I talked about what the Sun was. A giant nuclear fusion reactor. And since it is so good at being the Sun, it not only provides heat to our Earth, but also light. Lots of light. Hopefully, this isn't news to you (yikes!). Light is an interesting thing we very much take for granted. Look around, there is light in the room you're in, light coming from the screen you're reading this on (unless you're psycho and still print things..) and light from outside. Even at night! The light from the moon, isn't really light from the moon, but a reflection of light from the Sun. Did I just blow your mind? Probably not.. I guess I'm failing as a writer. There is a lot of light available, and all that light also carries energy, rather, it is energy. In reality, the light from your phone screen doesn't really have the potential to power anything, neither does a light bulb. But think about how many light bulbs it would take to equal the amount of light t...
